ARE THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT REALLY ONE?

 

• Can the word TRINITY be found in the bible?
• Is there a verse in the bible that literally state that the THREE ARE ONE?
• How can GOD be both ONE and THREE at the same time?
• Why are there many verses that show they exist individually and work separately?
• Is it possible to answer these questions and get a full grasp of these mysteries?
• Was there a revelation of the mystery of this oneness in the Apostles time or are we just too lazy to unravel this mystery because we fail to properly study our bible from cover to cover?

I asked these questions but I did not get a convincing explanation from anyone for two decades. However because these questions have generated a lot of debate among Christians and 2Timothy 2:15 wants us to ‘Study to show thyself approve unto GOD. A workman that need not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth’ I decided to search the truth for myself.

Finally these questions were thrown at me and these were my answers:

This could be boring but just like me, somewhere someday, someone might ask you these same questions and  1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the LORD GOD in your hearts: And be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

The Almighty GOD is ONE in DIVINE BEING and THREE in PERSON.

Tri = three

Unity =one

Tri + unity = trinity

A mathematical representation of it would be:-

No the word TRINITY is not in the bible.
YES! There is a verse in the bible that says the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT are ONE.

 

1 John 1: 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2(For the LIFE was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that ETERNAL LIFE, which was with the FATHER, and was manifested unto us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the FATHER, and with HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

 

Luke said in

Luke 1:1-4 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,

4 That thou mightiest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD.

2 The SAME was in the beginning with GOD.

The WORD was in the beginning with GOD.

3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not anything made that was made.

All things were made by the WORD; and without the WORD was not anything made that was made.

Who is the WORD?

John 1:4 In HIM was LIFE; and the LIFE was the light of men.

In the WORD was LIFE; and the LIFE was the light of men.

In the WORD was LIFE.

The WORD gives LIFE.

1. What LIFE?
2. Eternal LIFE
3. Who is the WORD?

John1:10 HE was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not.

The WORD was in the world, and the world was made by the WORD, and the world knew the WORD not.

The WORD was in the world.

The world was made by the WORD.

The world didn’t know the WORD.

Who is the WORD?

John1:14 And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth.

The WORD was made FLESH.

John 3:16 For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting LIFE.

Hebrews 7:14-16

For it is evident that our LORD sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless LIFE.

ETERNAL LIFE = Power of an ENDLESS LIFE

Hebrews 7: 24-28

But this man, because HE continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

The WORD became FLESH.

GOD gave HIS only begotten SON.

1. How did the WORD become FLESH?

Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with GOD.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a SON, and shalt call HIS name JESUS.

32 HE shall be great, and shall be called the SON of the HIGHEST: and the LORD GOD shall give unto HIM the throne of his father David: 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The HOLY GHOST shall come upon thee, and the POWER OF THE HIGHEST shall overshadow thee: therefore also that HOLY THING which shall be born of thee shall be called the SON OF GOD.

Matthew 1:18 ….she was found to be pregnant through the HOLY SPIRIT

1. How did the WORD become FLESH?
2. The HOLY GHOST came upon Mary.

    The POWER of the HIGHEST overshadowed Mary.

    The HOLY THING which was born = the SON OF GOD.

The SON was made after the POWER of an endless LIFE.

Mary was pregnant through the HOLY SPIRIT

3 All things were made by the WORD; and without the WORD was not anything made that was made.

4 In the WORD was LIFE; and the LIFE was the light of men.

10 The WORD was in the world, and the world was made by the WORD, and the world knew the WORD not.

 

The WORD became FLESH.

GOD gave HIS only begotten SON.

The WORD = SON OF GOD.

The WORD gives LIFE.The SON gives everlasting LIFE.

JESUS gives everlasting LIFE.

JESUS is the SON of GOD.

Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

THE Spirit = HOLY SPIRIT

1 John 5:20 And we know that the SON of GOD is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know HIM that is TRUE, and we are in HIM that is TRUE, even in HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. This is the TRUE GOD, and ETERNAL LIFE.

 

JESUS CHRIST gives Eternal LIFE.

The HOLY SPIIT gives Eternal LIFE.

GOD gives Eternal LIFE.

JESUS CHRIST = TRUE GOD= ETERNAL LIFE

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the LORD is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty.

NOW the LORD is that Spirit.

The Spirit of the LORD.

The Spirit = Holy SPIRIT.

The HOLY SPIRIT = LORD

1. Who is the LORD?

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD to the glory of GOD the FATHER.

Psalm 13:31 For who is GOD save the LORD? or who is a rock save our GOD?

For who is GOD but the LORD? And who is a rock except GOD.

Mark 12:29 And JESUS answered him, the first of all the commandments is ‘Hear O Israel! The LORD our GOD is ONE LORD.

The LORD =HOLY SPIRIT

The LORD = JESUS CHRIST

The LORD = GOD

GOD = LORD

 

John 4:24 GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of GOD moved upon the face of the waters.

John16:28 I came forth from the FATHER, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the FATHER.

GOD is a Spirit.

The Spirit of GOD.

The LORD is that Spirit.

GOD = LORD.

GOD = LORD = HOLY SPIRIT.

I AM in my FATHER = the WORD was with GOD. The WORD is GOD.

John16:28 I came forth from the FATHER, and AM come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the FATHER.

John 1-21 In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. 2 The SAME was in the beginning with GOD.

John 14:11 Believe me that I AM in the FATHER, and the FATHER in ME; or else believe ME for the very works sake.

John 10:30 I and MY FATHER are ONE.

1 John 5:7

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

FATHER + WORD + HOLY SPIRIT = ONE

GOD + JESUS CHRIST + HOLY SPIRIT =ONE
